Case study
Designing the designer
Turning scattered components from earlier projects into one consistent, accessible library for everything I design.

The challenge
Having multiple components from earlier projects, one a dark-only palette, duplicates and a font that only worked on my own computer made the library hard to reuse. So something had to be done.
The process
I built a token system of primitives and semantic colours, checked every colour pair for contrast, added responsive type and grids, then merged and rebuilt the components.
The outcome
One library that switches between light and dark, desktop, tablet and mobile, with templates that make new projects start faster.
